THE CARAVAN AT JULI'ÂNESSE'S, Gîte in Rochefort Samson

It is in a friendly and family atmosphere that we will welcome you to discover the operation of a donkey farm and a soap factory! In November 2022, we participated in the Agricultural Trophies organized by the Chamber of Agriculture of Drôme and the Dauphiné Libéré. We won the Jury's Favorite Prize! Discover opposite the presentation video of our farm filmed for the occasion. The Juli'anesse Equestrian Sensations farm is a donkey farm... in other words, a donkey farm and even rather a dairy donkey farm! The donkeys are raised with the greatest respect to harvest this milk whose benefits have been known since Antiquity by the Greeks and the Romans.

Farm Products: A range of seven soaps made with 20% donkey milk. As well as other cosmetics: liquid soaps, creams, and balms (coming soon) made with donkey milk.

On-site activities:

Take advantage of your visit to discover our farm! Yes indeed! You may hear some braying during your stay! (However, rest assured, the donkeys do not stay under your window during the night! Don't worry, we will take care of it.). Enter the heart of our donkey farm and discover the donkeys, the virtues of donkey milk and our entirely natural and artisanal cosmetics with a visit to the farm. You can also enjoy a soap-making workshop and make your own soap (500g) with donkey milk that you can take home with you. During the summer, activities and donkey rides are also possible. Hiking or mountain biking trails can start from the farm, otherwise you are very close to the Vercors. There are climbing sites in Rochefort Samson and Barbières. Near Romans sur Isère, in 20 minutes (various museums, Marque Avenue, etc.), various tourist spots for sports, nature and food: Terres d'Emotions restaurants, the paddle steamer and the Thaïs cave in St Nazaire en Royans, a hike in Ambel… Of course, we will not fail to advise you on places to discover related to your interests.

Gite Caravan "La Saltimbanque"

Stay on a farm in a natural and relaxing setting. Independent, fully equipped accommodation awaits you.

My old caravan had a makeover and pulled into the farm's orchard. It chose its natural spot and turned toward the setting sun.

Entirely clad in wood, the Saltimbanque emphasizes its country character with its curtains and bohemian decor. Its exterior and wooden terrace on stilts will invite you to appreciate every moment in its natural setting.

Everything has been designed to create a warm and cozy atmosphere with ease.

Everyone can imagine having breakfast under the beautiful maple tree, reading a good book in the hammock or even having an aperitif in front of the sunset….

Interior photos are coming soon, we still have some small decorations and other DIY projects to make it perfect but as soon as possible, they will be posted online!
